This information sheet is designed to give you a brief overview of what to expect when you arrive at Maplewood.

Getting Ready

To better serve your personal needs, we will conduct a pre-occupancy services evaluation to determine what special assistance you may require. You’ll most likely visit and tour our community to familiarize yourself with the surroundings. At that time, we can answer any questions you might have and go over details with you.

Making Maplewood Home

Your suite at Maplewood offers many comforts and convenient features to make you feel at home. A private bathroom, wall-to-wall carpeting, soft window shades, individual climate control, and limited kitchenette facilities may all be part of your apartment amenities. You can have a telephone installed, and you’ll have access to cable television. Outfitted with your personal furniture and belongings, from paintings and photographs to precious memorabilia, you’ll be able to create an environment that is uniquely yours.

Visitors are Welcome

We encourage you to have your family and friends come to visit often. When they do, you can entertain them in a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere both inside and on the beautifully landscaped grounds of Maplewood. You can chat with your visitors in the cozy lounge, have them join you in some of the many Maplewood activities—even invite them to dinner in the elegant dining room.

More Questions Answered

When you arrive at Maplewood, you’ll receive an Admissions Handbook that will answer most of your questions about such things as accommodations, furnishings, mail services, payment and other aspects of living at Maplewood. If you have additional questions, or need clarification about anything mentioned in the Admissions Handbook, just ask.
